Abstract

Two new species of Lauraceae are described from Peru. Aniba taftii van der Werff can be recognized by the combination of verticillate, subsessile leaves with brochidodromous venation and acuminate leaf tips, while Endlicheria vasquezii van der Werff differs from its congeners by the combination of coriaceous leaves with impressed venation, short petioles, and yellow-brown erect pubescence on the lower leaf surface.
