Abstract

The typification of the name Salvia sikkimensis E. Peter (Lamiaceae) and its heterotypic synonym S. sikkimensis var. chaenocalyx E. Peter is discussed here. A specimen at BM is designated as the lectotype of S. sikkimensis; isolectotypes are deposited in K, P, and WU. A specimen at E is designated as the lectotype of S. sikkimensis var. chaenocalyx; an isolectotype is found at W.
